On the occasion of your 15th National Conference, Red Spark congratulates you on another year of anti-imperialism, resistance and activism. Your contributions to domestic and international struggles against imperialism are an integral part of the Australian Left and the building of a socialist future. It has been inspiring to share in these efforts with you in 2025, including the touring of Vijay Prashad, marching together at anti-AUKUS rallies, standing together in support of Palestine and against the ongoing genocide of Palestinians and Aboriginal Peoples. Red Spark is proud to fight with you in defense of global anti-imperialist efforts, including those of China, Cuba and Venezuela.
Our organisations have carried out successful collaboration, most recently the defense of Venezuela against US aggression and attacks. The collaboration between the CPA and Red Spark was crucial in organising the successful January 4th-5th national round of actions against the blood thirsty US attacks on Venezuela and kidnapping of the legitimate president Nicholas Maduro. The CPA’s work in publicly campaigning for Freedom for Maduro and Cicilia Flores has been both admirable and a politically useful campaign.
As the US empire continues its death throes, it is clear that the fragmented Left in Australia needs to be non-sectarian and staunch in order to fight Imperialism’s ongoing attempts to hold power. Increasing imperialist attacks on China’s sovereignty, and also against many regions in the Global South, through AUKUS, trade wars, sanctions, bombing raids, and now kidnapping, target both socialism as well as any attempt to exercise sovereignty and independence from Imperialism. Over the next year we must continue to defend the sovereignty of all oppressed nations and their peoples, resist the Australian Government’s imperialism, and engage growing numbers of working people in Australia in the struggle for socialism.
We wish that your 15th National Conference is filled with rich discussion, and that this discussion further contributes to the mobilisation of Australians against exploitation, imperialism and for a socialist future.

Message to the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of Australia
Dear Comrades,
The Central Committee of AKEL extends warm greetings of solidarity to the CPA 15th National Congress and wishes fruitful deliberations and α constructive outcome.
Despite the geographical distance and the particular conditions in our respective countries and parties, we all face multiple challenges giving rise to global threats. It is particularly important to consider the current context, which is characterized by a rise in imperialist aggression and a serious attack on international law, most explicitly by Trump’s so called “Board of Peace”, and the attempt to replace it by the might is right dogma. The ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people both in Gaza and the West Bank has fully unveiled the double standards and hypocrisy prevailing in world politics along with the dictate multinationals and big business.
The US National Security Strategy as renewed by the current Administration has only aggravated the US external interventions in the strive to control the maximum possible energy resources and raw material, primarily rare earths, by any means. The relevant situation in your region of the Pacific is also raising high concerns. The return of the Monroe Dogma is already a reality with the attack on Venezuela, the threats of use of force against Colombia, Mexico and other countries of the American continent including its ally Greenland, but primarily by the energy blockade imposed on Cuba in addition on the 65years-long criminal and illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade.
The above is tightly related to the sharp increase of military expenses and overall militarisation of economies and international relations. In turn this has led to a situation where peoples’ well-being on all continents is being gravely impacted. The fast-growing presence and strength of the far-right around the world is affecting a further shift to the right of conservative forces and their policies. This development calls for urgent actions and formation of fronts to stop the repetition of some of the darkest periods in human history.
Our country, Cyprus, has experienced challenges in its history, including periods of British colonization, imperialist aggression, and the Turkish invasion and ongoing occupation, which have impacted the island’s landscape. The British bases in Cyprus are being utilized for surveillance and military purposes related to broader imperialist plans in the Middle East. The people of Cyprus continue to struggle to bring the end of the Turkish occupation and the reunification of their country under a bizonal, bicommunal federation with political equality, as outlined in the relevant UN resolutions. AKEL is always grateful for the solidarity of fraternal parties in pursuit of this shared goal.
We express our solidarity with your struggles for peace and social progress and we believe your upcoming Congress will enhance your struggles and future objectives.

Message of greetings from the Communist Party of Greece to the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of Australia
Dear comrades,
On behalf of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), we extend our wishes for every success in the proceedings of the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of Australia. We also wish to inform you that we will study its resolutions.
We follow developments in your country with interest, as thousands of Greek immigrants, from both older and younger generations, live in Australia and contribute to the struggle of the working class and the people.
It is clear that, in these highly complex conditions, the role and tasks of communists are becoming increasingly crucial, given that the ever-worsening problems faced by workers, small farmers, and the self-employed cannot be resolved through the management – whether liberal, social-democratic, or of any other political stripe – of the exploitative capitalist system.
In reviewing international developments, we note that the new conditions of escalating competition —which have led to the outbreak of two regional imperialist conflicts, in Ukraine and in the Middle East, where the state of Israel continues to murder the Palestinian people – carry the risk of a generalised war.
In Southeast Asia and the Pacific, the confrontation between the USA and China, centred on Taiwan, control over the shipping lanes and international trade, is escalating.
Competition is fuelled by the decline of US economic power relative to the strengthening of China, while contradictions within NATO and the EU are sharpening. The confrontation between the Euro-Atlantic bloc (US, NATO, EU) and the Eurasian bloc, led by the capitalist states of China and Russia, is marked by intensified military preparations.
At the same time, bourgeois governments are shifting the burden of war preparations and capitalist management onto the shoulders of workers and the peoples.
Today, it is clearer than ever that capitalism gives rise to imperialist war, class exploitation, and economic crises.
In Greece, the KKE is waging a fierce class struggle against the anti-people policies of the liberal New Democracy government and the bourgeois parties as a whole, clashing with the bourgeoisie and its power, as well as with the USA and the imperialist unions of NATO and the EU.
We stand with the peoples of Russia and Ukraine, who are shedding their blood in the imperialist war. We express our unwavering support for the heroic Palestinian people and demand an immediate end to the massacre in Gaza and to Euro-Atlantic plans for intervention in Iran. We are also strengthening our internationalist solidarity with the Communist Party of Cuba and the Cuban people, who are facing renewed threats from North American imperialism, emboldened by the reprehensible intervention in Venezuela.

In line with the programmatic conception of the KKE and the resolutions of the recent 22nd Congress of our Party, we consider it essential to regroup the workers’ movement on a class-oriented basis and to forge a social alliance between the working class and the popular strata, in a direction of struggle against capitalism and monopolies, in order to pave the way for the only solution in the interests of the people: the overthrow of capitalist barbarity and the construction of a new, socialist–communist society.

Dear comrade Winnie Molina, dear comrades!
On behalf of the members of the German Communist Party, I greet the delegates of the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of Australia.
In the preparation of your Party Congress, you are discussing many questions that are also important for us. How can communists best conduct the struggle for the social and democratic rights of working people, against imperialist war policies, for peace and socialism?
How do we strengthen the communist party as a precondition to wage these struggles successfully.
Our parties are both fighting in countries whose governments and ruling classes support the aggressive economic and war policies of imperialism, of NATO, AUCUS and EU, against socialist China, against the Russian Federation, against countries liberating themselves from neo-colonial dependency, currently especially against the Palestinian people, Venezuela and Cuba. At the same time, this policy is also aggressive within, social and democratic rights of working people are being dismantled, prices for all the necessities of life are rising, poverty and misery are increasing.
At the same time, there is hope. Imperialism is obviously reaching its limits. Many countries are no
longer going along with imperialism’s neo-colonial oppression. The successful development of socialist China opens up new room for progressive changes.
We are waging the same struggle in different countries.
We wish your National Congress fruitful discussions and good decisions and your party a successful implementation of these decisions.

Solidarity Greetings from the Workers Party of Ireland to the Communist Party of Australia
The Workers Party of Ireland sends comradely greetings to the Communist Party of Australia on the occasion of its 15th National Congress taking place on 27 February – 1 March 2026 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Our Party follows the struggles of the Australian Communists, sharing many of the common fights against the barbarous system of capital.
We fight to defend wages, collective labour agreements in the workplaces, pensions and social security rights; oppose massive cuts to social spending on public services and social programmes resulting in job cuts and the loss of public services; intensifying the struggle for the disengagement of our countries from war and the imperialist plans; advancing the struggle to expand workers’ rights; class solidarity with immigrants and refugees; demonstrating solidarity with working-class women against exploitation; and fighting oppression, inequality, expropriated labour, poverty, discrimination, low wages and precarious and socially devalued work.
Our countries remain exposed to the ever-present dangers of imperialist aggression and war. The causes of imperialist wars lie in the predatory nature of the capitalist system and the interests of the exploiters. Fascism is re-emerging across Europe and beyond. The expansion of imperialist blocs, imperialist aggression and growing militarisation represent real threats to peace and the peoples of the world.
The Middle East continues to occupy a position of strategic and geopolitical importance for imperialism. Israel and its imperialist allies have imposed a state of permanent war in the region with decades of relentless and bloody attacks on the West Bank and Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and beyond. The Zionist state of Israel continues its genocidal assault, including the deliberate starvation of the Palestinian people, across the Gaza Strip and has increased its murderous attacks on Palestinian territory in the West Bank, destroying infrastructure and laying siege to refugee camps. All of these war crimes take place with the support of the US, EU and their allies. Imperialism’s plan for Palestine is not a proposal for peace; it is a strategy for subjugation.
As your Congress takes place the latest military attack by the racist state of Israel and the USA on Iran is happening. This is a reprehensible and criminal act. The military aggression of US imperialism and the Israeli government, which is currently under legal process by the International Court of Justice in The Hague for crimes against humanity, is a blatant attempt to destroy Iran and replace the current government with a dependent and despotic regime. Massive US firepower has been assembled in the region and war preparations have intensified in order to impose imperialist plans in the Middle East, creating a real danger of escalation into a wider and generalised conflagration. This aggression will inevitably lead to great loss of Iranian lives and the destruction of the country. The Workers Party of Ireland calls for solidarity with the Iranian people at this critical time and stands with the people of Iran against this naked imperialist aggression. Our Party supports the struggle of the Iranian people against the dictatorship but rejects the attempts of imperialist powers to reimpose the bloody monarchy and manipulate these developments in the interests of imperialism.
We have witnessed recent US aggression against Cuba and Venezuela. This is an imperialist threat not only to Venezuela and Cuba but to all of Latin America which must be opposed.
Our parties will continue to oppose the escalation of tensions and aggression and the barbarity of imperialist war, emphasising the urgent need for the struggle for peace, the demand for the elimination of both the weapons of mass destruction and the causes that give rise to imperialist wars.
The Workers Party of Ireland salutes the long struggle of the Communist Party of Australia to advance the interests of the working class and build a new socialist society. We have no doubt that your deliberations at this Congress will assist in that task.

I extend to you my comradely congratulations and greetings on the occasion of your 15th National Conference to be held from February 27, 2026 to March 1, 2026. This conference will be held under difficult international circumstances, as American imperialism practices a policy of blackmail and intimidation against independent
peoples and countries, such as what is happening in Gaza and Palestine after the genocide perpetrated by the Zionist regime’s forces over the course of two years in order to impose its dictates on the Palestinians people under the banner of “The International Peace Council”. In addition, it has committed an act of terrorism by kidnapping the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, and continues its siege of the Socialist Republic of Cuba, and threatens Iran and independent countries that do not suit American imperialist policies in many countries.
All these arrogant policies practiced by American imperialism will only increase the determination of peoples yearning for freedom and justice to achieve a justice in their causes.
We at the Progressive Tribune, while commending the convening of your 15th National Conference, declare our solidarity with you in your struggle to achieve the demands of the working class in your country for a free and dignified life governed by democracy, social justice and equality.

We highly value your principled positions in solidarity with the Palestinian people and your clear stance against Zionist colonialism and genocide. The Palestinian people today are confronting one of the most brutal phases of colonial aggression, supported politically, militarily, and economically by imperialist powers led by the United States. Yet, despite all this, our people remain steadfast, resisting with determination and holding firmly to their inalienable national rights:
- the right to self-determination,
- the right to an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital,
- and the right of return for refugees in accordance with UN Resolution 194.
We salute your party’s opposition to militarism, imperialist alliances, and war policies, including your struggle against AUKUS and foreign military bases. These positions reflect a shared understanding that the same system which exploits workers and plunders nations is the system that arms Israel and protects its crimes. Our struggle for liberation in Palestine is inseparable from the global struggle against imperialism, racism, and capitalist exploitation.
Comrades,
your Congress convenes at a moment of historic responsibility. The growing international solidarity with Palestine, the exposure of Zionist crimes, and the rising resistance of oppressed peoples confirm that justice cannot be buried under bombs, and that truth cannot be silenced by censorship or intimidation.
We reaffirm our belief that the liberation of Palestine and the victory of the working class and oppressed peoples worldwide are part of one common battlefront. We look forward to strengthening relations between our movements on the basis of anti-imperialism, internationalism, and solidarity among peoples.

The Portuguese Communist Party extends its warm greetings to the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of Australia and, through you, to all Communists and to the working people of Australia, confident that your Congress will contribute to strength your political action.
Your Congress is taking place during one of the most dangerous and complex periods of Human recent history. The declining imperialist powers – the USA with the other imperialist powers gathered at the G7 – are attempting by all means to retain a political hegemony which no longer corresponds to the fastchanging economic balance of forces in the world. Confronted with the impetuous economic ascent of new countries, namely the People’s Republic of China, the imperialist system is lashing out in all directions, to try and intimidate, coerce and repress any forms of sovereignty and resistance by peoples and countries that wish to affirm their independence and choose their own path of development.
The ongoing genocide in Palestine is not only a crime by Israel, but also by the USA, the UK and the European Union, without whose active support it would not be possible. Its brutality shows well the true nature of imperialism, as well as the lengths to which the imperialist powers are willing to go in attempting to assert their worldwide hegemony. The brutal attacks that have been launched against sovereign Latin American and Caribbean nations, such as Socialist Cuba and Bolivarian Venezuela, the threats and operations of subversion and aggression against other countries, such as Iran, the instigation and prolongation of the war they are waging in Ukraine against Russia or the militarisation of the Asia-Pacific region targeting China, are all part of an offensive by the imperialist powers to impose its dominance and neocolonialism over the planet.
Working people in the countries of the imperialist centres are also the victims of this worldwide imperialist offensive. The ongoing escalation of militarism and war-mongering, spearheaded by US imperialism and the European imperialist powers, gathered in NATO, will be paid for by attacks against working people’s living standards and social rights. As always, militarism and war are accompanied by the reactionary, authoritarian, fascistic character of capitalism. It is no coincidence that far-right and fascist forces are being promoted by big capital all over the world.
In Portugal, the strong and successful General Strike of December 11, 2025, as well as the demonstrations against the right-wing government’s legislation to curtail labour rights, are signs that it is possible to fight back, with confidence, determination and organisation. Our Party is fully committed to mobilising the Portuguese workers and people for the struggle to break with right-wing policy – including submission to the European Union, NATO, and imperialism in general –, for a patriotic and left-wing alternative that paves the way for an advanced democracy with the values of the April Revolution in Portugal’s future, for socialism. We are aware that the success of this struggle depends on strengthening our Party’s ranks and its influence among the workers and the people. We are also aware that the best contribution that our Party can give to the world-wide anti-imperialist struggle is to achieve, in our country, successes in the struggle for a Portugal of peace and social progress.
Dear Comrades,
The current world situation requires a stronger and united world communist and revolutionary movement, which contribute to a broader anti-imperialist front, to stop the imperialists’ wars and aggressions and defend peace, sovereignty and cooperation among the peoples of the world. The Portuguese Communist Party is fully dedicated to organising and mobilising the workers and people to fight against militarism and imperialist aggressions. We remain steadfast in our solidarity with the struggle of all peoples, namely of those peoples who are in the front ranks of the imperialist onslaught, like the Palestinian, the Cuban and the Venezuelan peoples.
Wishing your 15th National Congress great success in better equipping your Party to confront the major challenges that we face, we consider that the role of the Communist parties is vital to the necessary strength of the anti-imperialist fight for peace, for sovereignty, for social progress and justice.

Receive fraternal greetings from the Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain (PCPE), on the occasion of the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of Australia (PCA) which is being held at this time.
We are not inventing anything if we state that we are at a crucial moment in the class struggle at the international level, accompanied by a desperate and, therefore, extremely violent intervention of imperialism to maintain its hegemony in all parts of the planet.
Venezuela, Cuba, Canada, Denmark, Iran,…, there is no area in this world where North American imperialism is not deploying troops and military equipment to threaten to implement measures that guarantee its “national security” which causes “insecurity” for the rest of the peoples and states.
Therefore, comrades, we interpret that the work that the delegates will carry out at this meeting is of utmost importance for the Australian working class and the rest of the popular sectors that position themselves in anti-imperialist and anti-fascist terms.
The PCPE therefore celebrates the successful conduct of the 15th Congress of the PCA, and that the conclusions and the resulting central direction of the congress are an indispensable instrument in the permanent struggle against the enemies of the proposals for peace, justice, solidarity, internationalism, and socialism, which are only guaranteed by communist organizations; in Australia, the Communist Party of Australia.

Under the current conditions of escalation in the inter-imperialist tensions, the advance of the Communist and Workers’ Parties in the world becomes an even more urgent task. Equally, the recent imperialist intervention in Venezuela, the constant threat against Socialist Cuba, and also the continuation of the Palestinian genocide are forcing our Parties to hold the banner of proletarian internationalism high. All of this is to be added to the increase of anti-workers’ and anti-people’s policies all over the world.
We are aware of the efforts your Party is making under these difficult conditions to increase the struggle of the working class. For this reason,, we consider that the holding of your 15th Congress imposes big challenges for the Australian communists and its working class.
Dear comrades,
Despite the distance, our Parties share the struggle against the involvement of our countries in the Euro-Atlantic plans. The struggle against the European Union, NATO, and AUKUS is a good example of this. From our point of view, the only way to end with imperialist wars and interferences as well as the exploitation of the working class is the overthrow of the system that gives birth to them — capitalism.

Dear Comrades,
We know that you are seeing increased interest among young people and the working class, and this encourages us because this is precisely the target audience we are also trying to reach. The dangers of war affect young people who risk being conscripted and workers who will have to produce weapons: these are the sectors of the population that can therefore build concrete opposition to the militarist policies of imperialism.
Your party’s anti-NATO line is a source of inspiration for us because in Switzerland too, the bourgeoisie wants to abandon our neutrality in order to integrate our armed forces into NATO. That is why we have launched a united front that combines the defence of workers’ rights with the defence of neutrality and peace. In our case, in addition to opposing NATO, we must also insist on rejecting Switzerland’s entry into the European Union, which is pursuing a mad rush to rearm and fomenting a warmongering mentality against emerging nations.

Bilateral arrangements between the governments of the United States and Australia are critical to the geopolitical foundation of American imperialism, now leveraged by the Trump administration against sovereign peoples everywhere. The formation of the AUKUS alliance marked a significant development in the advance of American imperialist ambitions, and in shifting the balance and organisation of forces within the American-led international alignment. Likewise, the struggle against ICE domestically is informed by previous bilateral immigration agreements of Australian and American governments, which have incubated tactics of political repression now deployed against broader sections of American society. We further note the rapid advances of far-right organisation in Australia, mirroring similar developments in the United States and around the world.
Amid such dire circumstances, the CPUSA congratulates the CPA on the successful conclusion of its 15th National Congress.
