NSW Youth Fraction Communist Youth Camp
Comrades from the Communist Party of Australia NSW Youth Fraction are happy to announce its first Communist Youth Camp. Join like-minded youth for a long weekend filled with fun activities, education and more. This is a great experience and opportunity to come together, meet other comrades and to strengthen our bonds. It is anticipated this event will be a success and become an annual event.
Dates: Saturday 10 – Monday 12 June (Long Weekend)
Eligibility: Full or probational members of the CPA aged 18-29.
Interstate comrades are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Location: Mount Victoria, Blue Mountains, NSW.
2 hours west of Sydney, accessible by public transport or car.
Private property with indoor accommodation with separate men’s and women’s dorms.
Activities: Education and discussion groups, union organising training, banner painting, film screenings, bushwalking, and lots of socialising.
What to bring: Snacks, bedsheets, pillowcase and a blanket or sleeping bag (a light blanket and pillow are provided). A full recommended checklist will be provided closer to the date to attendees.
Cost: $100. Includes accommodation and six meals.
If cost is an issue, get in touch and a discounted rate may be available.
Donations are welcome and encouraged
If you would like to support the camp, donations would be highly appreciated and used to support low-waged youth attending the camp as well as to purchase necessary supplies. For details on how to pay for the camp or to donate please email lennon@cpa.org.au.
Please format the donation with the title Youth Camp Donation.
Bookings are essential.
Space is limited and cannot be reserved without payment. To book, contact lennon@cpa.org.au. If there is availability, information on payment will be provided and after receiving full payment, your place will be reserved and a receipt and booking confirmation will be provided.
