TRADE UNION STRIKE UPDATES

UWU: The Employees at Onelink (Guardian #1903) won their demands. They secured four, three, and three per cent pay increases over three years.

RTBU: The Dispute with Yarra Trams (Guardian #1902) is unresolved. Further Industrial action was held on 17th February and 20th February from 10 am – 2 pm with stoppages for the whole tram network of Melbourne.

RTBU: Dispute with V/Line included a twenty-four hour strike for station staff, booking clerks, and train conductors on 18th February for Ballarat, Maryborough, and Ararat lines; twenty-four hour strike for station staff and train conductors on 19th February for Traralgon and Bairnsdale lines

TWU: Dispute with Jetstar (Guardian #1902) failed to find resolution. Ground workers at Jetstar went on strike for twenty-four hours on 19th February at six different airports in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Cairns, Adelaide, and Perth

ASU: Campaign to stop the privatisation of VicRoads continues (Guardian #1902). The rally was held outside of Princes Theatre, Melbourne on 18th February.
