COMPETITION

HOW WOULD YOU SPEND $270 BILLION?

The government has plans to spend an additional $270 billion on upgrading the defence forces for war. The Guardian is running a competition: How would you spend $270 billion? On war preparations and killing machines? Or do you have a better idea? We would like to know how you would spend the money.

You can tell us in an article, a shopping list, or in graphic form such as a cartoon, poster or meme, or you may have a better idea. Word limit is 500. A selection of entries will be published in the Guardian.

Win a $50 bookshop voucher or six-month subscription to the Guardian!

Entries close at 5 pm on Wednesday 5th August but earlier submissions would be appreciated.

Entries should be sentto editor@cpa.org.au
or mailed to:
How would you spend?
74 Buckingham Street
Surry Hills NSW 2010

By submitting an entry you agree to the publication of your entry in the Guardian and on CPA’s social media.

Good luck!
