Members of the Communist Party of Australia in Sydney attended a multi-day picket held by CFMEU workers demanding the wages they’re owed by Probuild and Frasers Property.
After the collapse of multi-billion dollar building empire Probuild, profitable developer Fraser’s Property left Macquarie Park workers without work or pay. Workers from the site are owed $7 million in unpaid entitlements.
Workers and allies picketed outside the worksite, demanding the company pay the workers what they’re owed.
CFMEU State Secretary Darren Greenfield addressed members, demanding developers that significantly profit from construction workers are held to account for wages and entitlements.
No worker should be left empty-handed after putting in hard work.
