Dear comrade,
The Communist Party of Australia (CPA) sends our warmest revolutionary greetings to the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) on the occasion of your important 13th Congress. We wish it to be a great success and that it further unifies your Party in the service of working-class liberation.
We salute your historic role in the national liberation struggle against imperialism, and as a continual leader of the progressive, nationalist and secular forces within your country.
We acknowledge also that your 13th Congress comes on the back of your heroic role in the recent upheavals against neoliberal corruption and capitalist rule in Bangladesh, and that the CPB plays a crucial role in the advancement of Bangladeshi democracy in a time of turmoil and change in your region.
A common point in our present struggle remains the resistance to US imperialism and US meddling in South Asia. Imperial aggression and US military presence in the region is intensifying the drums of war and remains a roadblock to peace. It must be stopped in its tracks.
We sincerely hope to further strengthen ties and exchanges between our two parties in our common struggle for workers’ power, and the scientific application of Marx, Engels and Lenin to our concrete conditions.
