The Communist Party of Australia conveys its warmest greetings to the 7th Congress of the Communist Party of Mexico, PCM.
The 7th Congress is convened at a time when the world is experiencing the difficult and complex circumstances of ongoing imperialist wars, rising costs of living, energy and food crises and threats of nuclear proliferation and environmental degradation driven by US military adventurism.
We have every confidence that through Congress deliberations your Party will strengthen itself to promote a revolutionary transformation in Mexico.
We salute the heroic struggle and sacrifices of Mexican Communists in the battles for democracy, socialism and against the US imperialism interference in Mexican affairs.
While we are wishing your 7th Congress every success in its deliberations, we extend our wholehearted greetings to its delegates and all the members of the Communist Party of Mexico, PCM.
We look forward to developing the relations between our two parties in the joint struggle for peace, social progress, and socialism.
