Acting Chairman of the Committee for External Relations
Central Committee Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, LPRP

Dear Comrade,

The Communist Party of Australia (CPA) sends fraternal greetings to our comrades of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party on their 70th anniversary milestone.

The inspiring celebrations of the 70th anniversary bring the people together with their vanguard leadership party. The seminar, held in Laos’ Xieng Khuang province, was attended by key leaders and guests from the northern provinces of Xaysomboun, Xieng Khuang, and Huaphan, the Pasaxon newspaper reported.

As reported in the CPA’s weekly paper The Workers’ Weekly Guardian, in his speech at the seminar, Chansamone Chanyalath, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the LPRP and Lao deputy prime minister, emphasised the significance of the seminar in marking the party’s leadership in the nation’s revolutionary successes, national defence, and socio-economic development. He also reflected on the party’s role in shaping Laos’ diplomatic relations, noting that Laos now maintains ties with 149 countries and has established strong international partnerships. The LPRP was established on 22 March 1955.

The Communist Party of Australia sends hearty congratulations to the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party on their 70th anniversary, and wishes its leadership, members and the people of Lao many more years of revolutionary achievements.
